The garden bed is made from Vego Garden's VZ 2.0 metal, which combines coated galvanized steel with a USDA-compliant powder coating. The material is designed to resist corrosion and changing outdoor weather while providing a safe growing space for vegetables and other edible plants. Vego Garden states that its coated galvanized steel beds are designed for a lifespan of 20 years or more.
A 12-inch soil depth gives roots room to grow while using less soil than a full-height raised bed.
